The New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association hosts various training opportunities and events, both online and in various communities in New Mexico. Below, you will find our current training, events, and classes. Be sure to check back often as new events become open for registration.

Training Types:

  • Food Safety Training (Tier 1 and Tier 2): Join us online or in person throughout New Mexico to learn practical food safety practices tailored for small and mid-size farms. Our trainers offer hands-on support to help you reduce risks and meet NM Grown Approved Supplier requirements—including completing your own Farm Risk Assessment in Tier 2.
  • Double Up Food Bucks Training: We offer training for vendors throughout the state who would like to participate in the Double Up Food Bucks program. Participants must be members of the NMFMA. For questions, please contact Sarah Thompson.
  • Market Manager Open Forums: Explore a variety of topics for farmers' market managers, including social media tips, market data collection, how to get the most out of your NMFMA membership, and more. These events are coming Spring/Summer 2025!
