Event Registration - New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association

Category View

The New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association hosts a variety of training opportunities and events, both online and throughout various communities in New Mexico. Below, you will find our current training, events, and classes. Be sure to check back often as new events become open for registration.

Training Types:

  • Food Safety Training (participants will need to take both Tier 1 and Tier 2): Adapted from the NMFMA’s in-person tiered training, these online sessions are tailored for NM’s small to medium size producers. Bringing food safety concepts to life, this training explores food safety hazards that may be present on farms and highlights practices to mitigate those risks. The trainers provide hands-on technical assistance to help you apply these concepts directly to your own farm so that by the Tier 2 training, you can write your own Farm Risk Assessment, increase the level of food safety on your farm, and become an approved supplier for the NM Grown Program. Be sure to sign up for the Tier 2 Training, where you will learn how to create a Risk Assessment for your farm! (Risk Assessments are required for the NM Grown Approved Supplier Program.
