Create Your Own Food Safety Action Plan

Are you thinking about selling to New Mexico schools? Do you have other wholesale customers asking to see your food safety plan? This Tier 2, intermediate workshop will walk you through completing a Risk-Based Food Safety Plan. This risk assessment will be customized to your farm, and will act as your operations manual to ensure continuous improvement and implementation of food safety practices. If you have not attended the Tier 1 training, you must receive permission from the NMFMA. Please call Denise at 505-699-2064 or email dmiller@farmersmarketsnm.org and provide a phone number and good time to call.

Your completed Risk-Based Food Safety Plan will be benchmarked to the Harmonized GAP standard, preparing you for GAP certification, if you are interested.  This workshop will be led by local food safety specialists and/or Extension Agents. Please bring a laptop if you would like to complete your Risk-Based Food Safety Plan in Excel.

Lunch and materials are included
