Are you interested in learning more about on-farm food safety? Are you interested in selling your produce to local schools, senior centers, and other institutions?
This training counts toward the Approved Supplier Program requirements to sell through NM Grown.
Adapted from the NMFMA’s in-person tiered trainings, these online trainings are tailored for New Mexico’s small to medium size producers. Bringing food safety concepts to life, this training explores food safety hazards that may be present on farms and highlights practices to mitigate those risks. The trainers provide hands-on technical assistance to help you apply these concepts directly to your own farm so that by the Tier 2 training you can write your own Farm Risk Assessment, increase the level of food safety on your farm, and become an approved supplier for the NM Grown Program.
