Create Your Own Risk-Based Food Safety Plan
Are your wholesale customers asking to see your Risk-Based Food Safety Plan? Are you considering a food safety certification like GAP? This workshop will walk you through completing a Risk-Based Food Safety Plan. This Risk-Based Food Safety Plan will be customized to your farm, and will act as your operations manual to ensure continuous improvement and implementation of food safety practices.
Your completed Risk-Based Food Safety Plan will be benchmarked to the Harmonized GAP standard, preparing you for our Tier 3 training, if you want to achieve GAP certification. The workshop will be led by food safety specialists, both local and from other regions of the country. Please bring a laptop if you would like to complete your food safety plan in Excel.
Materials are included.
COST FOR ATTENDANCE: This training is FREE for members of the New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association (NMFMA). Annual NMFMA membership for individual farmers is $25 and includes trainings and many other benefits. If you are not a member, please bring a check or cash to workshop.
