May Online Food Safety Training Tier 1 Webinar - Thursday, May 13, 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm
5/13/2021 - 5/13/2021
3:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Event Description

Due to COVID-19 we have had to cancel all in-person food safety trainings and develop an online training.
Our invaluable lead food safety trainers—John Garlisch, Bonnie Hopkins, Valerie Smith, and Yvonne Diaz—have been hard at work creating the new distance learning curriculum. Adapted from the NMFMA’s in-person Tiered trainings, these online trainings are tailored for NM’s small to medium size producers. Bringing food safety concepts to life, this training explores, by category, food safety hazards that may be present on farms and highlights practices to mitigate those risks.  The trainers provide hands-on technical assistance to help you apply these concepts directly to your own farm so you can begin writing your own Farm Risk Assessment or Food Safety Plan, or just increase the level of food safety on your farm.
