FOOD SAFETY IS GOOD BUSINESS!
 Tier 1 food safety training will improve your understanding of on-farm food safety,
and prepare you for Tier 2 training where you can complete a custom Risk-Based Food Safety Plan for your farm. This training will be conducted by Valerie Smith of La Montanita Cooperative who is a certified USDA trainer.

Lunch and materials are included. 

COST FOR ATTENDANCE: This training is FREE for members of the New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association (NMFMA).
Annual NMFMA membership for individual farmers is $25 and includes trainings such as this, and many other benefits. Cost to attend training for non-members is $75.
